Watching Clouds

Watching as the clouds effortlessly float through the sky

Watching as they effortlessly fly,

How easy it seems

But ‘you’ could only do it in your dreams.

Covering the sun, the moon,

Bringing the rain, not a moment too soon,

Bringing new changes,

So many new things it arranges.

Making you wish you could fly,

Soar into the sky,

Making you try,

Though you have no idea why.

Making you wish you could sit on a cloud

So kingly, so proud.

But all you can do is watch, fantasize

And deceive yourself with imaginary lies.
